Korea Language for Business and Technology (LBAT)
The Korea Language for Business and Technology (LBAT) summer study abroad program is an intensive, immersive program in Korea. It is offered at both the second-year (prerequisite: KOR 1002) and third-year (prerequisite: KOR 2002) level. During the LBAT, students can earn 9 credits of 2000-level (second-year) or 3000-level (third-year) Korean in eight weeks. In addition to intensive classroom instruction led by Georgia Tech faculty, the LBAT includes fieldwork projects and professional site visits to companies and government institutions that provide firsthand experience with business structures and protocols and a heightened understanding of current technological and socioeconomic issues facing the country.
