Internships

There are a number of internship opportunities open to Georgia Tech students. Students interested in exploring internship opportunities should speak to the academic advisor for the School of Modern Languages and their language-specific advisor. Students interested in interning should visit the Career Center for more information.

Georgia Tech also has a Global Internship program for students interested in interning abroad.  The School of Modern Languages along with the Colleges of Engineering and Computing at Georgia Tech has started internship and Study Abroad Programs that not only lead to professional competency in the language of choice, but can also prepare the student with the knowledge and experience for a workplace opportunity abroad.  These programs prepare students for leadership positions in business, industry, and government.  We have existing programs available in Germany, France, China, Japan, and Mexico.  Students can select from several options:

  • Two years (or equivalent) of language training at Georgia Tech
  • LBAT summer programs
  • Intensive language preparation at a local university
  • One semester study abroad in Engineering/Computing major
  • Six-month internship abroad
