Stephanie C. Ford received her B.A. in German Literature from Georgia State University in May 2018. During the same year, she completed a year-exchange in Franconia, Germany. She currently teaches German at Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta. Previously, she collaborated with the Marketing team of the GACC South after completing an internship in Creative Writing. Since discovering the world of linguistics in her undergrad, Stephanie has dabbled in 5+ languages. Her predilection for language and culture has inspired her to further develop her skills as a German instructor in the MS-ALIS program through the Language Practicum. Finally, her current research interests include political ecology, specifically the intersections of environmental history, social activism and non-violent protest, ecocriticism in German literature, and transatlantic ecofeminist theory.
