Samba Sy earned his degrees from East Stroudsburg University (M.A. Political Science) and Georgia State University (M.A. French Literature) where he also received a Graduate Certificate in Translation. He joined GT in Fall 2013 first as a part-time lecturer and was promoted to full-time instructor in Fall 2015. He is an accredited examiner for the DELF exam. Currently, he teaches Beginners and Intermediate courses and serves as the Director of the LBAT Senegal program.
