Kimiaki Yamaguchi joined the School of Modern Languages as a Japanese language instructor in 2006.  He earned his MA in communication from University of Pittsburgh and taught courses at such places as Oberlin College, UC Berkeley, and National University of Singapore before coming to GA Tech.  He currently directs a summer intensive Japanese language program called LBAT Japan and accompany students to Japan to teach courses in summer.  His academic interest lies in the development of effective language teaching materials.
