Julie Martin

Julie Martin received her Masters in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Georgia in 1997. Since obtaining her Masters, she has been teaching Spanish at such institutions as Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, and Chattahoochee Technical College. She is currently an Online Lecturer of Spanish at Georgia Tech. She has also made herself available for private tutoring engagements over the last 10+ years.

She is a member of the Foreign Language Association of Georgia(FLAG), and has presented her face-to-face and online teaching methodology at both the FLAG and GaETC conferences. She is passionate about continuous improvement in how best to motivate and support students in the virtual environment. She stays abreast of the latest online technology available that caters to the individual learning styles of her students.

She is so very grateful to be a member of such an elite team of professional educators at Georgia Tech, and continues to thoroughly enjoy teaching and learning from her students.
