Mary Kathryn Tippett

Overview
Mary Kathryn Tippett graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in French. She has employed her French skills while teaching English in France, working at the Alliance Française of Atlanta, and in her current role in the French & Italian department at Emory University. For the majority of her career, she worked with refugee youth at a local refugee resettlement agency. She is particularly interested in improving her language skills and building upon her cross-cultural education in order to work with youth and French in the future. Mary Kathryn conducts research on Francophone minority groups, immigrant migration and youth studies.
