Biography:

Neta Kanny, M.S. in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies in Spanish, presented, in Spanish, on "Colombia: The Current Political State, Coca, and the Venezuelan Plight" ("Colombia: El Estado Político Actual, la Coca, y el Apuro Venezolano"). "What I have loved most about studying the Venezuelan migrant crisis is how multifaceted foreign relations and a humanitarian crisis can be. This crisis has not only affected Colombia, but the whole Latin American region." Earlier in the year, Neta was chosen to serve as Political Intern at the US Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia.
