Masters Student - MS-GMC (Chinese)
- School of Modern Languages
Hongwei completed her undergraduate study in China and then took an MEd in Digital Asset and Media Management at King’s College London. This allowed her to develop an understanding of digital communication, technology, society, and economics. Afterward, she took a position as Marketing and Commutation Coordinator at the newly established Jinan University-University of Birmingham Joint Institute (J-BJI). The junction of two contrasting cultures, and two extremely different education traditions, created an exciting work environment.
I now work as a part of the ITCP project, which is a professional that fosters the effective creation of inventions, ideas, and innovations at universities and research institutes for commercial or societal impact; or is engaged in the associated innovation ecosystems, programs, and strategies to identify, guide, and advance promising opportunities to local, regional, and global markets. My job will be helping launch marketing campaigns in China and also assisting Chinese students get better student experience in this project.
