Masters Student - MS-GMC (German)
- School of Modern Languages
Tricia graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in German. While there, she cultivated a love for how foreign language education, culture, and media diversify and connect society. Her interests include minority representation in film throughout history and the effects on modern societal attitudes, social movements expressed through music subcultures, and linguistic variations within minority groups. For her graduate research assistantship, she currently holds the position of Assistant Coordinator of German Programming and is working on web and media presence for the German department, outreach opportunities to connect with the German-speaking professional community of Atlanta, and helping formulate, advertise, and lead German department events. For her final research project, she hopes to create a short documentary exploring queer visual culture and gender expression in Germany in the 1970s.
