Josh is a recent Tech graduate holding a degree in Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC) with a minor in Japanese. He received the Excellence in Global Economics and Modern Languages Award in 2017 and was nominated for the LMC Writing Award in 2018. His interests include world science fiction and cinema history, and his main area of study is in examining how media can promote positive cross-cultural interaction and understanding.

He is currently working on comparative cinema research on the Korean Peninsula.
