Georgia Tech Students
All current GT students can enroll in our online courses through OSCAR without any application and will receive the same academic credit obtained by taking any other language courses at Tech.
Non-Georgia Tech Students
If you are a non-Georgia Tech college student (or a college graduate) seeking academic credit for online Chinese, Japanese or Russian courses, you can go to Online Application to get started. For the course schedule and cost of the program, please see the Frequently Asked Questions page.
If you are currently a college student (not a GT student) or graduated from a college/university in the past, you have the option of enrolling through Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) if spaces are available. On the GTPE homepage, browse for "foreign languages” to find available courses. For the course schedule and cost of the program, please see Frequently Asked Questions page. No official academic credits can be obtained if you enroll in our online courses through GTPE.
High School Students
Aspiring high school students may also enroll through Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) with instructor's permission if spaces are available. On the GTPE homepage, browse for "foreign languages” to find available courses. High school students cannot earn academic credit from Georgia Tech through this program. However, if you successfully complete the course, GTPE can send a letter stating your grade for the course (not an official transcript) to your high school upon request. For the course schedule and cost of the program, please see Frequently Asked Questions page.
